One of the richest men in the country has been hit with a pittance of a fine after violating a New Jersey rule banning casino owners like him from wagering within state lines.
Billionaire businessman Tilman Fertitta, who is president and owner of Atlantic City’s Golden Nugget, was cited by state regulators after he gambled in the Garden State.
According to New Jersey’s rules, all holders of state-issued “key casino employee licenses” can’t gamble in any of Atlantic City’s 12 casinos.
