Macau’s casino tax receipts drop 24% in January to February

The government’s income from direct gaming taxes fell 24 percent year-on-year to 16.9 billion patacas in the first two months of this year, the Finance Services Bureau (DSEC) has announced.
Gaming taxes generated 84.1 percent of the government’s total revenue in January and February. In the same period of last year, they produced 82.8 percent of the total.
